That’s right. Everything is created in your mind first. Your thoughts influence your behaviours and your behaviours, well, they influence your results.

If deep inside you don’t feel you can achieve something, your mind will prove you right. This means that you won’t find the strength you need to push your limits. You won’t have the will to look for solutions. You may try again and again but you will always fall short.

For example, if your goal is to lose weight but you don’t believe you have what it takes, you won’t find enough willpower to stick to a plan. Every time you face a challenge, the voice in your head will say “this is really hard” and you when you start to struggle, it will tell you that you don’t have what it takes to continue. And because this is a believe you hold, it sounds legit. You begin to feel discouraged, insecure and unworthy. And as the voice gets louder and louder, your overwhelm increases until it becomes too much to bare… and you give up because it feels that your efforts are in vain.

This doesn’t mean that you are doomed. It just means that you need to change your core beliefs. If you do so, you will find the resources you need to overcome challenges and finally achieve your goal.

So if you are struggling to get results or feel stuck in a vicious cycle, it’s very likely that one of your core beliefs is holding you back. And to move forward, you must first become aware of what is limiting you.
